Volunteer actions carried out by “Pindos Perivallontikil”:
2000-2003: Organization and implementation of a summer forest protection – forest firefighting program in North Pindos with the annual participation of 20 Greek volunteers and 15 volunteers from European countries (“Pindos Perivallontiki” – E.V.S- “Arcturos”.
2003 – 2005: Elaboration and implementation, in the framework of the action “Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development” of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning. of the programs: Forest protection Forest protection of the North Pindos National Park. 2004-2005: Voluntary action with the participation of bodies and the local self-government for the protection, counting and promotion of the wild goats of Tymfi.
2005: Fire protection action of the forests of Pindos with the participation of 20 volunteers (“Kallisto” – “Pindos Perivallontiki”).
2006: Fire protection action of the forests of Pindos with the participation of 15 volunteers (“Pindos Perivallontiki”).

2008: Balkan conference on “Forest fires and the participation of volunteers” with the participation of 50 volunteers and volunteer organizations from Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania – Vovousa October 2008 (General Secretary – “Pindos Perivallontiki »).
2007- 2010: Collaboration with the Latsis Foundation and the W.W.F. Greece in the three-year program “It is our Duty” in the field of prevention and suppression of forest fires.
2007- 2010: Organization of a Voluntary Forest Firefighting Team in collaboration with the W.W.F. Greece and provision of forest firefighting materials by the Latsis Foundation through the program “It is our Duty” (provision of 4×4 vehicle, forest firefighting equipment, personal protective equipment).
