The project manager of “Pindos Perivallontiki” Tonia Galani, spoke to ethnos.gr and Vassilis Ignatiadis about the systematic work done at a pan-European level for the protection of the river Aoos, the last free flowing river in Europe.
“The construction of the two large dams in Albania will upset the ecological balance of the ecosystem as a whole, while the small ones, working cumulatively, will have the same effect.”
