Our common ideological starting point is the sense of debt for the conservation of biodiversity on the planet and the conscious struggle against any actions that degrade nature and the quality of human life. Pindos Perivallontiki operates locally, aiming for the preservation and rational management of the huge biological wealth of the Pindos region, but also at the upgrading of culture as an integral part of it, while highlighting the quality of life of the inhabitants of the region.

Pindos Perivallontiki operates on a voluntary basis. Five points govern the way the organization works and characterize the way of thinking of the people who support it:
“Pindos Perivallontiki” performs its duties independently. Its purpose is to design and implement programs targeting to highlighting environmental problems, the nature protection and the sustainable environment management.
The financial resources come from European or national programs, sponsorships and donations. “Pindos Perivallontiki” complies with transparency and accountability.
Volunteering is the “heart” of the environmentally friendly activities. “Pindos Perivallontiki” is open to anyone who wants to support the initiative.
“Pindos Perivallontiki” is a team above all. Common targets and common vision unite us.
“Pindos Perivallontiki” is open to new collaborations, new ideas, anything that leads to a better connection with the society.
