Pindos Perivallontiki organizes actions related to forest protection and forest firefighting, wildlife conservation, cultural heritage promotion.
Voluntary forest protection programs usually last a total of two months. The work of the volunteers includes patrols in selected parts of the National Park and staffing of the fire brigades for the purpose of observation as well as the timely notification in case of fire.
The volunteers are also involved in the maintenance, cleaning, marking and opening of existing and old paths, as well as cultural monuments.
The voluntary programs are always carried out in collaboration with the Local Government, the General Secretariat for Civil Protection and the Regional Administration of the Fire Services of Epirus.
